Since the weather is getting colder, all the cute sandals and summer shoes are going away. What shoes will be comfortable for school? With so many different brands trending this fall, what will people be wearing? Are people wearing the popular UGGs again this fall?

Birkenstock Sandals are common during the summer. The Birkenstock Boston Clogs are more warm for the fall or winter.
“I personally recommend Maison Margiela’s. It’s been a minute I’ve been wanting them. But if they are your size and you have the money, I recommend you get them,” says Abril Munoz (‘29). Maison Margiela’s are unique, and hard to find. They are boots known for their split-toe look. They can be bought on the Maison Margiela website.
Even though Maison Margielas started trending this year, many of this year’s trends will be similar to last year’s. “This year I think the UGG slippers or Tasmans are going to be popular, but not as much as the Ultra Minis,” said Ahanna Ramade (‘29).
The UGG Minis have a longer ankle part than the UGG Ultra Minis, which are more popular at the moment. UGGs will never not be popular. They’re cozy, and the perfect addition for fall outfits. UGGs can be bought online on their website, or in-person, at multiple shoe stores.
Troy Banks, (‘27) lists classics for this fall. “I think a lot of UGGs, specifically Lowmel UGGs, and Birkenstocks, are gonna be popular,” says Banks. Lowmel UGGs are a sneaker-boot type of shoe. They provide comfort, and warmth for the person wearing them.
There are so many different and trendy shoes this fall. Comfortable shoes for school are a necessity, so don’t forget to get some for this chilly season. What are you wearing this fall and winter?
