Imagine living on an island for a month with no food, no showers, and just a few pairs of clothes. That would be Survivor.
Survivor is a TV show where 16-20 contestants are brought to Fiji. Contestants are separated into 3 “tribes.” They fight for their spot on their tribe, to not be voted off the show. Contestants also compete in physical challenges to win immunity at tribal council.
The first episode of Survivor 50 came out on Wednesday February 25th. If the opening episode is any indication, this season will definitely be worth the watch.
The season’s components were chosen by fans of Survivor on an online vote, so we think there will be many fun twists ahead.
Players from previous seasons will be returning to play for the one million dollars again. Some of the players have already won the game, including Dee Valladares (season 45), Kyle Fraser (season 48), and Savannah Louie (season 49). Other iconic players will also be returning like Cirie Fields, Ozzy Lusth, and Coach Wade.
This season will be very good because of the unpredictability. It will keep all the fans wondering “who will win.” Usually challenges in Survivor consist of either a physical race, or who can last the longest in a difficult and uncomfortable situation. But who knows what challenges this season could hold? We think that there will be some new, bigger, never-seen challenges – especially because of potential collaboration with Mr, Beast.
A big component in Survivor are idols and advantages. Idols can be used at tribal council to be immune to votes that are being cast at a player. Advantages can be used in challenges or at tribal council to help a player and give them an easier situation. In this season, the idols and advantages will change by having celebrities send them to players .
Another twist is that celebrities will be included this season. The host of the show, Jeff Probst, has teased in other episodes that Mr, Beast, Billie Eilish, and Jimmy Fallon will appear. We don’t really like the idea of celebrities being included because it brings the real world into the game.
Overall, this season will definitely be worth the watch: it is always exciting, unpredictable, and intense
