“It was at Pioneer during the SEC [South Eastern Conference] championships for wrestling, and I had won the final match. I was thinking how the guy I beat had beaten me twice before this match. …My dad wrestled back in high school and couldn’t wrestle in college. He wanted me to start wrestling in 1st grade. Wrestling is important to me because my dad did it and I want to be as good as or better than my dad was. …I’ve grown a lot these years not only as a wrestler but physically and mentally. I’m 6’1” by the way.”
