“I went to Camp Paws, which is the Huron Valley Humane Society kids camp, ever since I was really little. My older sister became a volunteer, but I had to wait until I was 12 years old. The day I turned 12, I went into the Humane Society and did my first volunteering shift. It was really fun, and since then, I have opened up to volunteering with small mammals like guinea pigs, rabbits, dogs, cats and whatever other animal may come to the Humane Society. Volunteering is the best thing that could have ever happened to me.”
