“I joined tennis because my whole life I’ve wanted to join some sort of sport, but none of them fit me right until 7th grade. I picked up a racket and I realized it was the perfect sport for me. This is cheesy, but there was… a click. Every time I pick up a racket, I feel at peace; I zone in and I walk in and then everything else disappears. I played at a club for a few years…the opportunity to play for Skyline…is so much better because…it’s a whole different experience from anything else. Not only do you get to enjoy playing your sport, you also get to talk to people and bond with them and make friends! The tennis team is really welcoming!”
