“I play music…. I don’t know how to describe [percussion]. You don’t play with your mouth or bow…. Percussion is an instrument. Not one instrument. It is a subclass of instruments…. [My] favorite piece that I played is an arrangement of Over the Rainbow on marimba. It’s a nice piece, it’s really slow and beautiful.”
