“I think volleyball is really fun because I get to meet new people and make new friendships. I also really enjoyed meeting my coaches and being able to practice and learn new rotations and formations…. Practice is every day from 3:30-5:30, which sometimes makes it hard to find time to do homework. I play right side hitter and I really enjoy it because I like to block and hit kills…There is also a program for our volleyball team called RISE, and in that program we get to study diversity in sports… with the rest of our team because it helps bonds grow. I think it’s a really cool program. A volleyball player that I look up to is Harper Murray, because she used to play for Skyline. Coincidentally, I also got to practice with her sister and attend a lesson orchestrated by her… It was really fun and I learned a lot!”
