Ending the regular season with a 12-9 record, girls basketball is preparing for the district tournament, where they are set to play Dexter at Saline High School on Wednesday, 3/4.
Skyline has already faced off against Dexter twice this season, with one game ending in a Skyline win and the other in a loss. With the series against Dexter tied this year, the Eagles look to break that tie and advance in Districts. [Please follow The Skyline Post for updates.]
Skyline’s men’s basketball team closed out its season on Monday, 2/23, bringing an end to a season of hard work, with a 56-42 loss to Saline.
The boys’ team battled through injuries and a challenging conference schedule, finishing with a 7-16 record. The team demonstrated resilience and provided numerous underclassmen with valuable experience for future seasons. The season also marked the end of several seniors’ careers who led the team on and off the court.
“Over the last 4 years with the program, I enjoyed building connections with my teammates and making good memories,” said Cal Williams (‘26). “I wish we could have had more success, but it was a great experience.”
