Once the last bell rings on Friday, December 19th, Skyline students and staff head home with a two week long break in their future.
How are they planning to spend this long-anticipated break?
“I finished all my college applications, so I’m planning on doing a fun Christmas/birthday trip with my family! I still haven’t decided where yet.” – Ashley Han (‘26).
“I have some family coming into town, so I’ll be hosting them. I’ll also be playing some pickleball and watching Avatar.” – Young Park
“Nothing super exciting: my family and in-laws are in Maryland, so I will visit them and then come back home.” – Cate McCraw
“I’m going to Canada to visit my friend from Costa Rica.” – Olivia Serlin (‘28)
“I’m doing literally nothing.” – Annabelle Balazer (‘26)
“I’m going to Arizona. I’m going with my family, my brothers driving there from L.A. We’re also celebrating my dad’s birthday, I’m really excited.” – Maeve Kilbride (‘27)
“When I’m home, I’m definitely going to sleep in and hang out with friends and not worry about school.” – Hana Ghani (‘27)
“I’m going to New York to visit family. I think we are going to see my grandma, grandpa, and cousins. I think we are going to see a show on Broadway and visit bakeries.” – Max Rosenberg (‘27)
“First, I’m going to Pennsylvania to see my moms side of the family. Then, on Christmas day, I’m flying to Atlanta to see my dad’s side of the family. After that, I’m going to Colorado with my best friends to go snowboarding.” – Ben Zampi (‘27)
