Want to sip into the spring? Here are three lavender drinks for chai, matcha, and latte lovers that are delicious and easy to make and will get you in the spring mood.
These drink recipes are definitely worth trying if you like the taste of lavender. They are simple and don’t require a whole lot of ingredients to make them.
Iced Lavender London Fog Chai Latte
Ingredients:
- Lavender syrup (The specific syrup I used is lavender vanilla from the brand Zerolicious. You can buy a different one or make your own lavender syrup)
- London fog syrup (I made my own)
- Chai concentrate
- Any type of milk
- Heavy whipping cream
- Make the London fog syrup. You will need five Earl Gray tea bags, sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Steep the earl gray tea bags for 10 minutes.
- Add 1 ½ cups of sugar.
- Let simmer for 30 minutes, then add one tbsp of vanilla. Before you put it in the chai, you’ll want to let the syrup cool down.
- Assemble the drink
- Pour in the chai in your glass about halfway.
- Add three tbsp of the London fog syrup.
- Add ice and then pour in milk, leaving some room at the top for lavender cold foam.
- Make the lavender cold foam:
- Pour heavy whipping cream into a small bowl (enough to cover the top of the drink)
- Add two tablespoons of lavender syrup and then froth it until it’s thick. It’s best if you have an electric whisk, but if you don’t, put it in a plastic bottle and shake it up.
- Pour lavender cold foam in the drink and you’re done! Iced Lavender Matcha (my favorite!)
Ingredients:

- good quality matcha powder
- any milk
- heavy whipping cream
- lavender syrup
- Make the cold foam (see steps for the lavender cold foam above).Set the cold foam aside.
- Sift in two tsp of matcha powder, and add 60 ml of either cold or warm water (175 degrees)
- Start whisking fast in a W motion until you see foam at the top! There are other tools to use to whisk with, but a chasen is recommended.
- Pour milk into your glass a little less than halfway. You don’t want it too milky.
- Add two tbsp of lavender syrup.
- Pour the matcha in and then the cold foam, and voila!
Iced Lavender Honey Latte
Lavender and espresso may seem like an odd combination, but it is simply delicious.

- Ingredients
- instant espresso (I used Nescafe blonde but any kind can be used)
- any type of milk
- Honey
- Lavender syrup
- Put two tsp of instant espresso into a small cup or jar. Add 60 ml of warm water, and stir in one tsp of honey.
- In a separate glass, add milk, ice, and three tbsp of lavender syrup.
- Pour in the espresso, and you’re done!
