“One of the biggest accomplishments I have done is helping with tryouts and getting the new [Pom Pon] team ready for the year. Another big accomplishment is improving the diversity of the team …I started encouraging girls from other races to join our program. I serve as the varsity captain/lieutenant for the program…my coach recommended me to go to the SEC women’s leadership conference and that just sprung my leadership journey to another level…My hope for the team is to keep growing further and this year we competed D1 in the JV division. I’m hoping we can get more girls to compete to go D1 varsity. For my journey I hope I keep doing it collegiality.”
