“I wear a lot of pink to practice because it is my favorite color and it makes me happy… pink reflects who I am as a person because I am very positive and girly. My favorite pink outfit to wear to practice is hot pink athletic shorts with a hot pink tank top with fabric crossing in the back. It is easy to run with and it’s pretty. I have liked pink my entire life… [it] impacts my performance, it makes me happy and optimistic so I run faster.”
