Have you ever wanted something so mouth watering that you drop your jaw? The newly opened Slim Chickens at 5505 Arbor Chase Drive is the perfect place for you.
The chain restaurant Slim Chickens opened on January 6th, 2025. It is worth the hype due to the wonderful food, and excellent service. I would give it an 8 out of 10, and if you’re looking for a family restaurant I would recommend coming here.
The chicken itself was good: it felt like fireworks of flavor in my mouth. The sides I ordered were garlic butter toast, french fries, and fried pickles. The garlic butter toast was phenomenal and I would definitely love to have that again because of its crunch and prominent garlicky taste.
The fries were greasy, but not too greasy, and a little salty. They stood out because they were crunchy on the outside, but chewy on the inside. The fried pickles are given in large servings, meaning you won’t be left wanting more.
The service was great, though they were still training new employees which could mean an order being potentially late or messed up. Other than that, they were kind and understanding about what I wanted.
Now the big question: is it worth the money? It is definitely worth it because they treat you very well, support a family environment, and serve delicious food.
Is it better than other chicken places? Yes and no: comparing it to A&W, Slim Chickens is on par with their food and service. People who are always willing to try new restaurants and food from different places should try Slim Chickens and rate it for themselves.
