Skyline’s Men’s Hockey are set to host their annual Miles Jeffery Roberts (MJR) Hockey Night on Saturday, February 1st, 2025. They are playing against Howell Varsity B, with the puck drop at 5 pm. MJR Night is a yearly hockey game aimed to inform youth about the story of Miles Jeffery Roberts, who died of suicide, and fundraise for the non-profit MJR Foundation.
At the match, there will be fundraising for MJR to further their ability to promote mental well-being and suicide prevention. The fundraising will include: bidding on donated items through a silent auction; a chuck-a-puck during the second intermission (throwing pucks onto the ice with the closest to center ice winning a small cash prize); selling MJR themed merchandise; and donations on their website.
