“We were a bunch of baseball players who had nothing to do in the winter and we heard about a rec basketball league from some friends which we [thought] would be a fun thing to do while also getting some conditioning in. The league has been so much fun, and sharing that experience has made us all closer. We all got to know each other better which helped the team dynamic once spring rolled around.”
