“My favorite part of journalism is talking to people and listening to their stories. I’m usually a pretty talkative person, so I love hearing about the different things people get into in their free time, what they’re passionate about, all the things I could cover. It’s so interesting…. My favorite part [of journalism] is not always the writing. I think the writing is important because it’s a way of getting the story out there—but my favorite part is still all of the stories I’ve heard.”
