“My favorite thing about being on a club soccer team is that I can bond and have really good friendships with people that don’t go to my school…it teaches me a lot of leadership skills that I can carry on into my social and academic life. School season will probably be more difficult to play against different ages…I also think it’s always a little nerve racking joining a new team. There is a lot more pressure in club season because I have been at the club for a while and I hold myself to a high standard. Balancing soccer year-round is challenging but it’s worth it because constant practice leads to more improvement, which I can use for high school soccer.”
