“I’ve been playing soccer for 12 years since I was five. I play for Michigan Jaguars FC 2007 Girls Academy. In the picture, I was excited because I was at a tournament with all my friends and coaches. I am kicking the ball to my forward, Bri (‘25), who is my best friend on the team. I got into soccer because, in kindergarten, my whole class was playing and my mom was the coach. Soccer has definitely made me a very motivated and determined person. I definitely got a lot of my work ethic from soccer…I used to really want to do it professionally but as I’ve gotten older, my goals have changed so I just want to play it in college now and hopefully be competitive with it for a few more years.”
