“I was running the 100-meter dash…at Skyline High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I was feeling good because I was in first place. I’ve been doing track for three years now.…I [will] continue doing track later on this year. In 8th grade at Forsythe Middle School, I felt like the 100-meter dash was easier than the 200-meter dash or any other race. Track wasn’t a hard sport at all, it was really fun meeting a lot of new people and making new friends over the season.”
