“I absolutely love being a coxswain…I am basically the connection between the coach and the rowers and the boat, so I make sure everything is running smoothly… I steer the boat…I love the Skyline crew team, I’ve made some of my best friends there…There definitely is [a different mentality from a rower] than a coxswain, you have to always be on top of things. Um, I joke with my other coxswain friend that anything that goes wrong in the boat is your fault, so you really have to be able to keep a cool head in situations.”
