“The power went out at the pool we were supposed to have our first meet at this particular day. So instead of just, like, not doing anything that afternoon, my coach decided to do an intrasquad meet, which means we were just competing against each other. And I was about to do a relay with a bunch of my friends… swim meets are really stressful so to have a meet like that, just against your team was really fun. We don’t do this every year, it was more of a team bonding moment and I would do it again.”
