“I’ve always loved film. If I wasn’t actively waking up early for Saturday morning cartoons, I was analyzing shots like that rotating hallway scene in Inception. Inspired by great black creatives like Spike Lee, Ryan Coogler, Jordan Peele, Tyler Perry, and Bradford Young, I knew that there was a place for me to flourish in the industry as well. If the opportunity to be one of the stage managers for Skyline Theater’s production “Blue Stockings” has taught me anything, it’s reassured me to be confident in my ability to take something to the big screen.”
