“For my work at Windy Ridge, I feed the horses and I muck their stalls and take them outside. I chose to work at the barn because I wanted to make some money… I didn’t want to do retail, you know, I wanted to do something me! …Horses are such majestic animals, I have always loved them…. It’s very physically demanding…it teaches me about grit and persistence because I have to be out there working rain or shine. They gotta be fed, they gotta be taken care of no matter the weather.”
