“I’d probably say that my favorite thing about being in choir is the sense of community. Everyone is always super supportive of each other, no matter the circumstance. Also, just being able to perform in general — we actually got new music today that I’m super excited about — is always a treat. Coming into freshman year, I didn’t actually intend on joining choir. I wanted to explore some other classes and some other subjects, but long story short, I ended up at Choral Cavalcade in eighth grade. The choirs there put up quite a performance…the choir propaganda got to me. And that’s how I joined choir.”
