The Skyline class of 2025 includes several exciting athletes who will represent Skyline at the next level.
Britta Coultas is committed to playing water polo at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She will be taking classes at Bucknell’s Freeman School of Management. Coultas had major interest from two other Division I programs. “I chose Bucknell because it offered everything I am interested in academically,” says Coultas. “I will be able to play/travel to away tournaments at Bucknell.”
In October 2024, Sydney Harwick committed to Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. She will be studying public relations while rowing for the crew team. “I‘ve always wanted to go to school on the East Coast,” says Harwick. “The second I visited Fairfield I knew it was the one.”
Jessica Lee is committed to playing volleyball at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She will be studying economics at Georgetown’s College of Arts & Sciences. Lee had interest from a number of other programs, but in the end, Georgetown was the best fit for her. “I chose Georgetown because of the incredible academics, athletics, facilities, campus, and most importantly the community,” says Lee. “I immediately felt welcomed by the coaches and players.”
Aidan Suliman is committed to Lansing Community College (LCC) to play baseball and study business. LCC provides a great opportunity for him to reach his goals. “I want to play Division I baseball,” says Suliman. I’ve always wanted to compete at the highest level and LCC will be a great stepping stone to help me achieve that goal. I’ve dealt with back injuries, which have slowed my recruiting process. Lansing took a chance on me and I’m forever grateful for that.”
In December 2024 Elle Wong committed to Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. She will be playing soccer while studying biomedical science with a minor in Spanish. “I did have other options; however, RIT was by far my best experience,” says Wong. “I chose RIT because it’s a tech school, so it’s really focused on my area of study.”
Luke Zogaib is committed to playing soccer at the University of Michigan. He will be studying economics at the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts. Zogaib had interest from other programs, however. “I chose Michigan because of the balance between academics and athletics,” says Zogaib. “I have loved Michigan since I was a little kid.”
The Skyline Post wishes every athlete the best of luck over the course of their academic and athletic careers. We are excited to see what they will do next!
