On a planet where humanity is extinct, and robots left behind have evolved, you might think that they function or act like any other robot, but no. They tend to have emotions and behaviors and be much more violent. This is why they’re called murder drones.
Murder Drones is an eight episode horror-comedy show on Youtube about human service robots attempting to create a new civilization. Meanwhile, killer robots developed by JC Jenson, a mining corporation, are massacring hundreds of service robots daily who are not following Jenson’s protocols.
The show had brought enjoyment and entertainment to its viewers, who thoroughly appreciated watching it. “I like how the plot keeps you on your toes all episode.” says Skyline student Elise Fettig (‘26), “It’s really interesting to watch because there’s a lot of dark things that you uncover throughout the series.”
Fans had also developed a strong appreciation for the show’s characters, praising their depth, relatability, and the way their stories unfolded throughout the series. “My favorite characters are probably Cyn and V,” says Skyline student Ariana Flores (‘26), “I really like the random memories N has that give a little more insight into his past and where he came from. He’s really so joyous!”
Fans appear eager to recommend this show to others, often sharing their enthusiasm and encouraging new viewers to give it a try. “You have to be deep or at least know about this type of show to end up watching Murder Drones,” says programming and base data college student Gianfrancois Franco (21’), “or like the animation in general.”
I really liked Murder Drones. I never thought I would end up watching a show about robots when I first saw it around social media. I like the show’s sense of humor mixed with the horror going on, like when Uzi and N were trying to create a secret friendship handshake in the middle of a brutal fight between Cyn and V in episode eight. I also really love how the characters effectively contribute with the show’s events, and the mix of emotions they bring up. I definitely would recommend it to others.
