Call of Duty: Mobile (CODM) is a free mobile FPS game, developed by Tencent under the Call of Duty franchise, and was released on October 1st, 2019. CODM combines features of the many PC and console COD games, so there is a large variety of weapons, game modes, maps, and skins making it a very versatile and advanced game, as long as your device can handle it.
CODM combines features from other CODs with maps like Shipment, Nuketown, and Rust. There are various weapon options, for example the iconic MG-42, or more obscure weapons like the Type-19, which can all be equipped with many of the skins found in the original CODs. You can also play all the classic COD game modes such as Battle Royale, Zombies, and any PVP game.
With many international players and even pro-level competitions, you won’t ever get bored. Whatever level you are, or however you like to play, CODM is for everyone. Controller players and screen players are put in separate lobbies to prevent certain players from gaining an unfair advantage. The only downside of that is when you get to the Grandmaster or Legendary ranks, it’s very difficult to find games for controller lobbies.
Originally a console game redesigned to function on mobile, CODM offers excellent graphics and is very controller-compatible so you won’t be missing out on anything by not having a PC/console; it even allows for gyro aim and custom claw layouts. While it is quite demanding on your device and requires a lot of storage, it only takes 35-50MB of data per hour, so it can easily be played without WiFi as long as you have enough battery.
So as long as you’ve got a good mobile device, CODM is an excellent game. With its well refined gameplay, constant updates, and endless possibilities, it’s clear why this is one of the best mobile games ever.
