For those who do not know, Milk and Froth (328 S Main St, next to The Chop House) is a new ice cream shop in downtown Ann Arbor. They have the best ice cream I have tried in a while – so rich and creamy that I am drooling right now, thinking about it. Milk and Froth is the best place to get ice cream this summer. On those hot days, you will need something to cool you down.
Milk and Froth shop offers a unique variety of ice cream and vegan options, which not many places have. For those that do, their vegan ice cream is not as delicious.
The vegan options are incredible. I tried the non-dairy coffee cream, which you would not know was non-dairy because it was so rich and creamy. I tried most of their flavors, but my two favorites are sea salt butter cake and coffee and cream. I could not choose between the two because they are both outstanding. Both have a punchy taste and creamy texture.
The place itself is clean, modern, and elegant. The red decorations and walls add some spice. It took some work to find parking, and the seating was limited as the shop was located downtown. The store is small and can get crowded quickly, but it’s perfect for grabbing some ice cream and walking around.
Even though their ice cream is excellent, are their portions and prices reasonable? Their prices are a bit high. Two scoops cost me eight dollars, and one scoop was five. You can get a cone or bowl, although cones are cheaper.
Even though their prices are high, I would say it’s 100% worth it because they sell high quality ice cream. You won’t be able to find ice cream that good anywhere else; they have the best ice cream in Ann Arbor!
Their menu is small, with limited choices. They should consider adding more delicious flavors. I would be down to try more of their ice cream.
Their staff is friendly, kind, and respectful. They have a cool vibe and are very welcoming and energetic. They were patient with me when I could not choose what to try and even suggested some flavors.
I’ve had ice cream from other shops and stores, but nothing compares to Milk and Froth – very creamy and addicting.
